While you are doing the same job with either less pay or less fulfillment or even losing your passion.

Are you still waiting for that right time to come for you to develop those skills?😨

Hopefully, now I have got your attention.👀👂

Tip No 1. - Use 4 D’s

· What to DO

· What to DELETE

· What to DEFER

· What to DELEGATE

This will help you understand the overall picture of all the activities you indulge in in a daily routine.

Tip 2.- Prioritize the tasks/activities

· Low

· Medium

· High

· Urgent

This will help you to avoid being overwhelmed with the activities. This helps you to relieve unnecessary stress and anxiety apparently from mild fatigue as well. More so, you will have clarity on the tasks you have on your list.

Tip 3.- Timeboxing – If you have a time-consuming task then time box it, which would help you to maximize your productivity and lessen the distraction. You can round off on another day if you are yet to complete that task depending on your schedule. This would be the best option to learn anything new. So do in a particular time or day, as you learn in increments the result is huge. For example- learning something in the LinkedIn learning platform keeps you on track.

Tip 4.- Merge all calendars – By doing so saves you time, is more convenient, helps you stay organized, also allows you to plan, and prevents rescheduling. If you merge personal and work calendars you can eliminate rescheduling events whether it is a friend's meet up or project meeting.

Tip 5.- Most important one any task you intend to do, know the outcome.

What do I mean by this? If you are to pick and drop your kid from one of the activities your kid is involved then try to delegate this to another parent, but if that activity means building some bond between your kid and yourself, then prioritise this.

I truly believe these tips would be of great help for you to kick start scheduling your calendar and to use the time appropriately.

Remember you have 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week, and 720 hours a month and so don’t race against time use it appropriately.
